Many people have criticised their relationship; they say things like, "Ko Hye-jin could've done better" or "Park Gyeong-se acted childish" and the similar sort, but those annoyances are what makes their relationship beautiful and realistic. Ko Hye-jin knows that she could've done better, but she stayed with him; loving someone means that you have to endure their really fucking annoying side. (Very important side note: that of course does not apply to abuse of any kind, don't endure that.) From my understanding of Park Gyeong-se, him throwing tantrums was intended to be annoying, the viewer was meant to cuss at the screen every time he showed up. Also, I have to acknowledge the fact that he didn't make a very great first impression to the viewer either—if I remember correctly, one of the very first scenes of the show was Park Gyeong-se talking mad shit about Hwang Dong-man. That introduction basically summarised his entire character; a losing piece of shit. What makes me really appreciate Park Gyeong-se as a character is not feeling the need to focus on the reason why he was acting like a little bitch, it's how he turned out in the end that mattered more to me. His character is not about why he developed envy and hostility towards Hwang Dong-man, but instead how he learn that he was the one who was in the wrong and managed to grow from it. Ko Hye-jin's support only went so far with him, he had to come to terms with himself actually being an insufferable person. Park Gyeong-se is a very fine example of character development.

It's one of the most beautiful relationships ever, we've seen how they've been flipping ... How they were,how they became,what they became,we saw each other's mistakes,how they dealt with their own mistakes,and how they valued each other in the end,no matter what circumstances and disagreements went through....
