yep. I come from a hypocritical mom, too. I know it comes from a good place because she wants me to be protected and safe, but the delivery is always off and hurtful.

yes there is definitely assume the worse. like when I topped the class in a particular year the response was "lets see how it is the next year" there was quiet satisfaction but someone fear that being joyful would jinx it? 😆
