im sorry but isnt like the whole reason of what makes backrooms scary is you thinking about ending up there with no way back? like having a consistent non-moving nullzone on both sides just destroys that scare factor, you dont end up in the backrooms if you just dont choose to go in there at that point, the whole reason its scary as a concept is that you can randomly noclip through reality and end up there, there isnt supposed to be a portal, its more like "glitching out of the map" which can happen at any time and at any point, this concept alone makes me more paranoid and anxious than watching the movie ever did lmao
