Wow - well done on your honesty. It wouldn't be a kindness to sugar coat the journey. The toughest thing for anyone is recognising that no one else is responsible for fixing you other than yourself. I'm fortunate in that I've not experienced the childhood that you have ......but have experienced a great deal of loss ......and I choose to be happy, it's not been easy but for me that's the way I deal with things. I've cried, wept, wallowed and done all of that (and still do from time to time) but I knew that I WANTED to feel better and so I CHOOSE to feel better!!

Thank you for your response. I am currently doing all these things. One step at a time. So hopefully I will see the results soon and one day be able to say I am healed. I wish the little me got the love she needed and deserved. I also wish it didn't take me until my 30's to realise how awful my parents are. but I will heal one day and I will be the most amazing parent to my son and step daughter. I will be everything for them that I never got. I appreciate you! Thank you ❤️

When I lived near my mum, I wanted to move away from her. I met someone now my husband. He had a house 20 minutes away from here in the car. Also with my inner child I removed my self somewhere safe
