@navigraph: Racing the tide and a fast-moving fog bank into Barra 🌊✈️ Flying the DHC-6 Twin Otter into EGPR means managing a short soft-field landing on tidal sand, with runway availability dictated by the Atlantic. No pavement, variable surface conditions, visual references only, and a landing window that disappears at high tide. #fyp #BarraAirport #EGPR #DHC6 #TwinOtter #STOL #SoftFieldLanding #VFRFlying #Runway33 #TidalRunway #BeachLanding #Navigraph #NavigraphCharts #FlightPlanning #AviationCharts #MSFS2024 #MicrosoftFlightSimulator #FlightSim #SimPilot #AvGeek #AviationLovers #AviationTikTok #ApproachChallenge #OuterHebrides
if anyone knows what’s going on at Loganair why tf is there an ATR 72 going from Aberdeen to Campbeltown and there’s a scheduled flight from Campbeltown to London even tho Campbeltown has only been flying the twin otter

I used to be involved in aircraft dispatch in Glasgow scotland, I was told the loadsheet had to account for a few kilos of sand on those flights 😁. the sand would get everywhere
