Sa Tuna es una cala que siempre resulta un descubrimiento insospechado para quien la visita.

Estoy en Begur y no es para tanto, calas de difícil acceso, todo masificado. muchas escaleras de subida y bajada para llegar a las calas, no lo recomiendo, mejor Cadaques, Tamariu, Llafranc, Tossa de Mar y Sat Antonio de Calonge.

After the admin of this summer term, I’ve decided I’d quite like a trad wife too. 😂 This summer term has honestly made me realise just how much invisible labour exists. I had no idea how much work there was in running school and nursery admin, staying on top of the household and trying to fit it all around a full-time job. And research tells us so much of that still falls onto women. Our school WhatsApp group has been trying to recruit PTA volunteers and recently had to remind the dads that they’re allowed to apply too… Tumbleweed. 🤪 It’s remembering the school trip permission slips, booking the dentist, knowing when the nursery is closed, securing after-school clubs before they fill up, planning six weeks of summer holidays around work, paying the bills, organising birthdays, arranging childcare, keeping on top of the garden, the house maintenance, the food shop, the family calendar, and carrying the mental load of what everyone needs before they even know they need it. Today on This Morning we discussed new research suggesting women aren’t actually better at multitasking than men. Good. Because maybe we can finally stop pretending women are biologically designed to juggle everything, and start asking why we’ve come to expect them to. For decades, research has shown that women still do the majority of unpaid domestic and cognitive labour, even when both partners work. That’s not because women are naturally better at it. It’s because we’ve normalised women becoming the default project managers of family life. Imagine if every adult simply owned half of the invisible work. Not because they’d been asked. Not because they were “helping”. But because they recognised it as their responsibility too. The goal was never for women to simply add paid work on top of unpaid work. The goal was equality. How’s everyone else surviving the end-of-term admin? 🤪 #fyp
