False. Fedex is just getting rid of Express.They are straight up getting rid of Express. They make more money from the Ground contractor model since the divers don't actually work for fedex. Express was quality service over quantity. There's a reason you'll never hear a customer say "I'm so glad it's the Ground drivers instead of the Express driver."

It's definitely going to hurt Fedex as a company as well as the drivers actually out here on the road doing the bulk of the work delivering and picking up all day every day. FedEx wants us drivers to do the exact same thing UPS drivers do but for a fraction of what UPS drivers make.

I empathize with you. But I have been waiting on an ac unit for 3 weeks now I made it through the first heat wave but the second one starts tomorrow still no movement towards Harrisburg PA. I am 68 years old I can't afford to get another ac. I am hoping some FedEx employee notices.

Yea and now overnight deliveries that customers pay $60-$150 are being delivered 3-4 days late and us in the stores are having to deal with the pissed off customers.

FEDEX service is horrible, they will leave your package anywhere. Contracting ground was an awful decision. They pay by the day!

We’ve been in 2.0 for a year and this really is a classic FedEx move. Let’s fix a system that has worked really well for us for decades. All they are doing is causing problems for the workers, the drivers, the contractors, and their own station employees. This is a giant headache. I have been driving for FedEx for 6 years and this is my last summer at this job. All of the things that made this job awesome are gone.
