@caitlinandleahh: Showing our 2 and 3 year olds their donors 👶🏻 for context we have shown them and spoken about them since the kids were only a few months old as suggested by our fertility counsellor. We never want them to feel like they can’t talk to us about how they were made 🤍
The comments are NOT it!!! I have two moms, and they told me all about my donor when I was really young, it was amazing! I really loved growing up with two moms :)

What is up with everyone in the comments? Nothing about this is “sad” or “upsetting” in any way. It’s actually a smart idea teaching them about this when they’re younger. It’ll allow room for questions in the future and feeling comfortable with the topic.

the comments are so dumb. im adopted and my parents told me as soon as I asked, which was YOUNG. it is ALWAYS better to be honest about this. it isn't inappropriate, it's respectful💙

The comments are not it. A child who was naturally conceived might ask how they were born and the parents would say "mummy and daddy made you and you came out of mummy's tummy" So why is this any different? They didn't go into details. They simply showed them who they are and said they helped make them. So they understand and don't get confused. This is excellent parenting in my opinion. No need for all the negativity.

People that say they don’t need to know don’t understand how important it is for children to not feel lied to when they grow older - speaking like this makes it feel normal for them I’m sure and that should help when they are old enough to fully understand - they won’t feel like it’s something to feel shame about

There is nothing wrong with this video at all, the younger you tell them the less they have to ask questions. Good job Mummy Caitlin and Mummy leah 🥺
