There is no such thing as Universal Basic Income, or Universal High income. when AI takes your job there's not going to be an unknown check coming from some mysterious account. Nobody is going to pay you for not working. That's all there is to it.

We need Universal Basic Income because the economic model we rely on today is becoming less sustainable with every major leap in AI, automation, and robotics. Businesses are designed to maximize profits and reduce costs, and employees are treated as expenses on a balance sheet. Relying almost entirely on businesses to distribute survival through wages made sense in an industrial economy, but in an age of AI & automation driven productivity, we need systems that ensure technological progress benefits society as a whole, not just shareholders and executives.

People talk about universal income. Please make me understand how AI making everything producing everything but people aren’t making their own money. Therefore, the economy is stagnant and there is no growth because of this products aren’t being bought. Companies won’t make any money. People won’t be able to afford to buy the things that they really want, especially on a fixed income. How does the economy make money on that? The math just isn’t mathing pleased do explain?

Doesn’t the idea of UBI literally allow us to pursue things to give us self-esteem? Working for a large corporation so that I can afford a mortgage and health insurance but that gives me no time to do the thing that gives me self-esteem … seems like a losing contract there.

No Sir you are dead wrong. Work doesn't give ME value. where the heck you come up with this trash. Work has taken time away from my family, from the things I really want to do, Before work Its all about getting ready for work, and after work I am left too tired and emotionally fatigued to do anything meaningful. Being free means that. Free time to improve your health, to get more educated, to rebuild your body with exercise, to be able to sit at the table every breakfast, lunch and dinner with my family and really enjoy them, enjoy time with them without worrying about Monday. Take care of my peta better, have time to do a hobbie that brings me joy, have time tonfix everything that is broken at home, have time to go to the beach or connect with nature, spend more time with friends, learn a new skill, but NO, our time is eaten up entirely by work. That's not life, is modern day slavery, because its not really a choice if you know that not working will drag you down to loose your stuff and bring misery to your family.
