no i do agree with him though.... no child left behind act was an absolute nightmare however they now have ESSA which allows states to control what they deem acceptable which is still a nightmare.

It really shouldn’t… it’s like the basic expectation.

Our Education system is a complete failure and there have been cases of kids graduating with barely any GPA.

NVLB might have been REFORMED but kids are still being pushed into the next grade when they are failing. It's a combination of the parents and schools failing our kids equally. But the schools can easily just stop allowing kids to move up a grade if they're not at grade level

Marcel’s Not Nice :
People always seem to confuse No Child Left Behind with graduating students who have near-zero GPAs. What they're actually thinking of is social promotion—the practice of advancing students to the next grade regardless of academic performance. Social promotion became heavily criticized in the 1990s, and many school districts moved away from it, although it hasn't disappeared entirely in every district.

My god, you are some hating ass, intellectually challenged, left behind by society donkeys. How do you find yourself hating something you barely did your damnselves. "It really shouldnt... It like the basic expectation"? @Natm, go play in a gatror pit with pockets full of chicken parts. Someone is more deserving of the air you are wasting.

The NCLB did have long lasting effects but not because of the reasons the dude in the beginning said. (Thankfully my parents held me back despite the NCLB or I would have been so behind)

I nearly didn't graduate because of ONE assignment BECAUSE NONE OF THE QUESTIONS APPLIED TO MY INTERNSHIP!!!!! (I'm still salty) but I did because my parents signed off on me having done a bunch of volunteer work a pro mermaid and pro cosplayer while in high school. ON TOP OF THAT I was doing extra hours (by like 30 a term) at an elementary school for my internship not during my school hours because I have a passion for education. that's the ONLY reason I graduated. I did so many hours of volunteer work!
