That was the exact point being made in Matthew.... all these people saying LORD, LORD..... were naming off all the WORKS they had done, like those works 'merited' them an entrance to heaven! Many people go around USING Christ's name to do 'good works'..... doesn't mean they actually KNOW Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, trusting ONLY in HIS complete works for salvation. It is JESUS + NOTHING.

I respectfully disagree. The context of Jesus message from Matthew chapters 5-7 is about obeying His teachings in said Bible chapters. Its about living the way God wants us to live while we're here on earth or kingdom living. We all believe in God's son, Jesus, but the difference is listening and obeying to what Jesus has taught us which actually is what God instructed Jesus to teach us. Please read Matthew chapters 5-7 🙏

Nobody that boats the works of their flesh and not the outward works of Jesus within people will be saved. because Faith through Grace...you must believe. The thief on the cross had faith and no works. Jesus died for all sin. Those who wash their robes will enter the gate. outside are those who love and practice falsehoods. Boasting in the flesh is a falsehood.
