I don’t mean to be “that person” but goodwill is just taking an opportunity to make money off the items you are no longer interested in. It is their right. I’m not in support of Goodwill myself. I prefer to help other thrift stores. But if you don’t like that thrift stores make money off of your items there are other ways to deal with that. You could sell it yourself, and you could always donate to a nonprofit or leave it out for whomever to grab it off your hands. Either way, unfortunately, the control is no longer yours once you release it from your ownership. Just throwing my two cents out there for fun. I love everybody though. 🥰
