I agree with you. What i have really experienced in my 5 years of freelance work - that foreign clients pay good value and it's always on time. Although, yes i have been scammed by a German client once. I have a really bad experience with people who share the same community as mine or they are a pakistani, indian or middle eastern living in US,CA or UK. I feel bad saying this here. But i have had numerous clients who were from those regions and the moment they see my first name and they do "Salam" or "Assalam O Allykum" and i already know it my mind that it's game over. They are going pay less for a crazy amount of work or don't pay at all. They don't respect your time. They do not value you as a person. They will call you in the middle of you liesure hours to disturb your peace or in the middle of your sleep. At this point, I am like terrified to get on-board with any clients belonging to that region because i have wasted so much time and resource dealing with people like that.
