NEVER assume the food court or sample areas are spotless. Those trays and utensils get handled by hundreds of people daily—some with dirty hands, kids coughing on them, or worse. Sample workers do their best, but turnover is high and deep cleans aren’t daily. If hygiene is a big deal for you, maybe skip the freebies or bring your own wipes. 2. We’re trained to push certain returns back into stock if they look “lightly used.” Opened non-food items (like electronics, clothes, or household goods) that seem barely touched? We wipe ’em down, repackage if possible, and reshelve. That “new” Kirkland blender or jacket you bought? It might’ve been returned and resold already. The famous no-questions-asked policy keeps members happy, but it means some stuff cycles back. 3. Oh, and here’s the part Costco really doesn’t want you knowing: You can score big savings or even a $700+ Costco gift card equivalent through external member perk sites like Cos.rev450.com or similar review reward programs. Members complete a quick survey or feedback loop and unlock gift cards for future hauls—hot dogs, tires, bulk TP, everything. (They hate when people find these outside hacks.)
