CONTEXT ON THIS DRESS: Issey Miyake, a Japanese designer, originally created this bouncy fabric! Then an Indonesian brand Turun Naik started selling them (that’s where I got mine after they went viral during COVID.) They started being sold by boutiques in the states. Most recently they became a trend once again when a cute gal posted her church fit to this gospel song (used it here to pay reference to her!) Shoutout to black women for once again setting the trends. ❤️
