I’m not a homeowner and our Iva was over 6 years. We made our last payment 1st Nov 25 and it took till the 9.2.26 for the Iva to be completed and then a certificate sent out, and 3 months later it has just dropped off our credit report

It’s been one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I don’t wish anyone in the position I was in but if you are, get an IVA. It’s the most calming, stress relieving formal process

Does debt affect being approved for a rental property? We have a debt to income ratio of 24% and earn £50k household income but I’m worried with the debt we have they won’t accept us?

It’s worth noting that the certificate takes about a year to show up, but you don’t need it anyway, I’d forgotten about mine when they emailed it to me 🤣😂
