Great. Additionally, David Hume shed light on this centuries ago. Hume pointed to the same patterns. He was among the first to offer a formal study of human nature in relation to emotions and reason.

Depending on the reponse. Logic takes time to process. Emotions don't. Logic takes precedence over emotions in strategic decisions. Emotions sort out emergency and acute issues. Sorting emergency and acute situations is always messy ( as emotions always are ). One needs to review lessons learned from emotional situations and use logic to process those lessons learned to develop strategies for the future. Reason, rather than logic alone, and emotions drive us independently. Both have value. Both are toxic in extremes.
