Hey hey! New beekeeper as well! Make sure you spray the excluder with some sugar water.. helps them go up there and explore. They tend to not go up there since she isn’t able to. You can also leave the excluder off for a few days and throw it back on after they’ve had a chance to peek at the new area 😃

I use to be terrified of bees. Having a garden and giving them water, I know they won’t sting me. I had a lot of wasps that won’t sting me either
