@k9kismet: Meet Luciano! When we told @lbanimalcare Luciano he was next up to head off to school through the DIESEL Project, he immediately filed a complaint with management. "SCHOOL?!" 😖 Needless to say, we pivoted immediately and informed him he'd actually been accepted into a very exclusive summer camp. 🤫 So yesterday, Luciano packed his bags, grabbed his imaginary sleeping bag, and headed off with @mr.johnflores for two weeks at "Camp" @humblek9 🏕️ This shorter two-week format of the DIESEL Project is designed for long-stay shelter dogs who already seem to know some basics but could benefit from a little extra coaching, real-world adventures, and opportunities to show us who they are outside the shelter. For Luciano, that means polishing up his leash skills, practicing good manners, exploring new places, meeting new people, and proving that beneath that perfectly baked potato exterior is a really good little dude. Think less homework and pop quizzes and more new friends, fun field trips, and wondering why anyone said the word "school" in the first place. And since Luciano seems like exactly the kind of kid who'll have so much fun he refuses to get on the bus home, we'll be sharing his adventures along the way and hoping camp ends with the best pickup ever: his forever family. 💖 Have fun, buddy.
