In her deductions: transit pass $44 is really reasonable, pension is $ she gets back (and might well be matched by her employer, Ei protects her if she loses her job plus pays mat leave, her union fights for her rights).

So 4600 a month take home is nothing to scoff at. Youre getting your CPP and private pension funded too which is huge. Once your student loans are paid off (im assuming you have debt) then you'll be laughing.

$44.58/hr at 80 hours per pay period x 26 pay periods is 92,726.40 gross income per year. That is a good wage. Add any OT hours to that and she could easily be in the 6 figure range. What’s the issue here?

Only 52h in 2 weeks is the reason that it’s low. At $44/h, if she works full-time (i.e. 37.5-40 hours/week), it’s $90k/year.
