Is it important to have three functions (i.e mehndi, nikkah and walima) for sponsorship for a desi marriage considering I am 48 and will be marring someone in Pakistan also 48 old adult with no parents and very independent and never been married before both with no children? Ive heard that IRCC still requires 3 functions for a desi marriage.
