No, guys keep digging. That money was not available to her when the houses were in question. Was she going to have access in the future, sure but did she still buy those homes outright and did he still get to keep them? Yes.

Not necessarily. If there’s a trust, sometimes you cannot borrow against it or liquidate funds from it. Don’t assume unless you have a copy of the trust that she had cash available

she never said was not wealthy. The Whole point was she trusted her husband with her finances and she shouldn't have and she was about to lose the homes that she loved because she got screwed on the prenup. Also that her husband accumulated a massive amount of wealth and she had no idea

I’ve been divorced twice. Contentious divorces. Both men left for younger women and I never wrote a book about it. What did Jackie think was so unusual about her separation/divorce. Many of us have gone through it. No one knows what they will end up with till the papers are signed. She’s a very wealthy woman and she’ll do fine financially.

Maybe her funds in the trust weren’t liquid. Also maybe her trust we’re considered inheritances that weren’t calculated into her divorce and weren’t available to her fully at that time and maybe she really was in a financial precipice
