I’m a 41-year-old single mother moving into my parents’ basement. I’ve had my own home since I was 19, so this is a major change. I’ve lost most of my financial stability due to legal costs and related circumstances and am starting over. As hard as it is, I still feel this is the right step for me, and I’d still take this over being married to my ex.
