The work site should never be empty until the work is done. Full crew 24/7. Have crews A, B, and C working 8 hrs each. Be done in a few days. Move on.

Look, I’m pro union and workers rights. I understand that we can’t make people work nonstop. What I don’t understand is how road construction takes such a ridiculously long time. I genuinely cannot wrap my head around it, or come up with an explanation as to why it moves at a glacial pace. There’s just no way it actually takes THAT LONG.

Speed limit is 45 while workers are present. I've never had to slow down to 45 cause I ain't never seen any workers. 😅

Regular town road (high traffic) near me has been under construction for the past 2.5 years. Years. How can it take that long to improve drainage. Plan it well, gather materials, construction crews rotating 24/7. How can a 2 mile stretch take 2.5 years and counting
