@highaltitudehouseplants: Switching to large evaporative humidifiers has been an absolute game changer for maintaining higher humidity in my home. Big shout out to Nick from florafoundry_co for putting me on to the Aircare evaporative humidifiers. The main benefits: - It can't over-humidify - No white dust - Safer to breathe - Less maintenance and easier to clean - Less frequent filling - Cheaper to run #plantcaretips #humidifiers #houseplants #dryair #aroids
Switched to an evaporative humidifier towards the end of last year I think and it’s made my life so much easier, I could not handle the white dust on everything

I live in Colorado and I found a fun little "hack" is that im also an aquarium nerd. I keep all my plants around my tanks and they love the localized humidity from the evaporation 😄 some directly in the tank

keeping plants happy already gives me enough chores. i'd consider Y&O to avoid another round of wick shopping.

Get a large aquarium (many free on marketplace) and grow plants out of the top. The humidity is great. Plus I grow plants submerged. I have a monstera, pink philodendron, 3 different pothos, white wizard and a few others. Plus you can water you 🌱 plants 🪴 when you do a water change.

I run mine during the winter because it is also dry here then but very humid during summer. I love that it’s easy to keep humidity in the house then.

I'm sitting at 30-40% humidity at best in my dry air and my plants don't have any issues. Why is that? What's the point of humidity? Is it just for the best looking plant possible? Genuine questions 🙏🏼

I found a Thai constellation, and Burle marx flame this week at Home Depot. I was very overstimulated at work, left on my lunch to decompress .. it was a nice little treat. ❤️
