I have a nice new oven. No numbers. After 55 years I’ll just keep punching in the temperature I want and live dangerously. 😂😂😂

Shawn in Belize :

Sara Putnam756 :

I have Samsung and no numbers

Mary Pulido Torres :

I’ve yet to see when a recipe has numbers in regards to cooking in your oven. It usually says bake in the middle part of your oven so I don’t know how the numbers come in handy.

Cynthia Kerr :

not every oven has numbers on the sides of them . the numbers are there to help you bake or broil something etc. 5, 4. 3, 2, and 1 and it should be in that order. 5 broiler quick melt of cheese or a finish for lemon meringue pie the topping 4 ideal for roasting veggies and getting a crispy brown top 3 center stable temp cookies cakes pies brownies muffins cupcakes etc . 2 balance heat for roasting meat chicken pork fish so they stay tender without burning 1. that is the bottom stronger and direct heat good for pizza, baguettes, and bowl bread. so if your oven doesn't have one .you will have just look at the rack rows that's all and pretend that they are there just remember 5 is on top and go down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Marie Dabbs :
