If you start with a stiff, thick cotton shirt, you can get that soft, weathered look really easily with distressing. The site North Shore Crafts has a solid article “How to Distress Cotton Fabric” that goes into a few methods. Even with distressing, it’ll last a lot longer than some dropship poly mess too.
