funny story... my planter is a 12 row black machine. half the corn meters are precision planting, the other half are kinze or john deere (yes both brands) and when i get done, you cannot tell the difference between all 3 brands

It’s just a tool. YOU have to figure out how to use it correctly. It has the capability of doing what they say.

Yeah I learned long time ago not to go to hard and angle with cultivator, only go a slight angle maybe 5 degrees so planter rides better

why wouldn't you plant right on top of you nh3 row ? especially if you got rtk. guy down my way goes cross ways too. you can see all the compaction in the corn

seems like the row units are bouncing too much over that angled tillage causing inconsistent seed depth?

Got lots in planter but also tillage is important, I always run the tillage the same direction I plant verse at an angle

I do not like precision. It’s just a gamble that they put on farmers that they can make money.

I have old 7000 JD planters, a 1770, and a newer 1775nt... they all grow the SAME yield of corn and beans no matter what over many tillage versions, and notill. I dont give CORPORATE GREED a chance, those companys are full of $h!t when they tell you they have the "solution" -Bo Alan 🤣 p.s- Great job with Acres T.V my friend
