@heyits.tatiana: An super closeup moment for the Gel-X application 🙌🙌 Some more tips for applying: I like to buff my natural nail before step 1 and 2. Step 3: I use a chemical etcher from Apres to roughen up my tips for better retentions. You can also sand/drill to achieve the same effect. Step 4: make sure you apply a thin layer of gel on your natural nail and cure it before applying the tip Step 5: I like to add a thin layer of gel to the tip with a bigger glob at the very bottom. The amount of gel will fully depend on your nail shape, I have quite curved nails so I need more gel to fill the gap but if your nails are flat you might need less gel then I use. Step 6: when applying the tip to your nail, always apply at an angle, the bottom of the tip touching your natural nail first while applying a decent amount of pressure when flattening out so gel doesn’t seep out of the sides. Cure before letting go of the tip! Step 7: when drilling the edges of the tips flush to your nails make sure you apply very light pressure, you don’t want to drill your and damage your natural nail. I also like to lightly drill/buff the whole nail so that any colour I apply on top sticks better. Step 8: this step I like to consider option because some people find it helpful and other find it actually lifts their nails more. For me I have a lot of issues with rentention at the base of my nail but I found when I started to include this step I had more of a seamless finish and rentention is a bit better. #nails #nailtutorial #gelx #nail #nailartist
