Be nice regardless. Have you ever been nice to someone who’s always rough on the outside? They talk to everyone roughly even when it’s a joke? Have you ever noticed their face, or their body language change. They hesitate to respond. Because it’s that’s what they need, anger is a flame, more rage just spreads it out. It’s like a blindfold, that they’ve self consciously been moving around with. The more kindness you give, the more their blindfold fades(that they aren’t aware of). They won’t react how you want them to because it’s confusing, they can’t see what you can. Your looking in from the outside, their looking out from the inside. So even if it looks like they’re still being rude and rough or even worse than before. It’s just the a temporary thing. So continue to be kind to those who are the opposite. Even if you slip up and give it back to them, that doesn’t mean you can’t recover.
