TODAY'S SPIRIT WORD Sunday 7th June, 2026. By Rev. Dr. Bright THEME: ”UNDERSTANDING THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF THE BLESSED GOD”-Part 5 “Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind (Psalms 67:2 TLB).” As a result of Adam’s sin, sin entered the entire human race. By yielding to Satan, Adam effectively surrendered his God-given authority to the enemy. The devil thus became “the god of this world.” But thanks be to God! Jesus came and ushered in a new era of unspeakable glory, thereby making all things new forever. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus reclaimed that lost dominion, restored it to mankind (now a new kind in Christ through the resurrection), and enthroned this “new” mankind together with Him in the heavenly realms. Thus a new era began (Ephesians 2:1, 4-7). Satan is no longer the god of this world. He has been stripped of his power—he is naked and defeated (Colossians 2:15). The Lord Jesus Christ is the end of Adam. He is the Last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45), who, 2,000 years ago, brought the entire old order to a decisive close. In His death and resurrection, He terminated the fallen human race, along with the dominion of sin, death, condemnation, poverty, and sickness—all that the first Adam had established. In their place, Christ inaugurated a new race of new creatures filled with life, righteousness, peace, joy, and prosperity. Because of this triumphant salvation, God no longer looks at mankind and the world through Adam. He sees everything through Christ. Adam no longer exists. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. I will unfold this glorious reality in greater depth tomorrow. Say this: ”Thank You, Holy Father, for Your boundless love for me and for all mankind. I pray that their eyes be opened to the amazing things you’ve done for us in Christ, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.” For more information or need prayer: Call us on: +233 244 59 77 31 or +233 243 071 071. We’re here for you. Email: christrep09@gmail.com
