Many Uber drivers behave unprofessionally in such situations. Once a trip has been accepted, the driver should first proceed to the pickup location. If they arrive and see that the passenger has a dog with them, they can—if they do not wish to transport the dog for personal reasons—decline the trip and drive on. A lengthy argument serves no one's interests. In my view, it would make sense for passengers to be able to indicate when booking that they have a dog with them—regardless of whether it is a service dog or a regular pet. That way, the driver would know in advance and could decide for themselves whether to accept the trip. This would help avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary disputes.

Service dogs is still a pet but the easiest way is that when you are ordering uber just let them know that you have a dog with you they’ll get you uberpet. Some drivers might have allergies with dogs.
