maybe that detachment is why you can’t stay with them, you never know what could happen. You choose to detach yourself because it means there’s a 100% chance that they will leave which makes it certain, and certainty is your comfort. You mustn’t give up, you can always take the leap of faith, again and again, until you attain your goal. I don’t personally follow this mindset but I know that others have used it and succeeded.
