I walk the entire 8 hour shift, pushing/pulling pallets and carts and lifting totes and skids. My whole body is sore every day and when i get out of bed I feel like im fighting rigor mortis 😒

i got in trouble at work for “leaning” on the other register beside my cashier (sometimes i have to watch the floor instead of cashiering) anyways, basically we can’t do anything and we just have to suck it up. i wish we could at least have a stool to sit when no one is actively in check out.

I forced my retail job to provide "accommodations" in the form of a chair. I would side down in between ringing up customers. You wouldn't believe the number of customers who were pissed off at seeing me sitting while waiting for them.😂
