i lowkey disagree with this take as someone that didn’t really have friends in high school but found my people later in life. but people still liked me back then, i wasn’t hated or anything 😭

Nah, I'm neutral with everyone . I have no desire to let anyone be like a best friend. I don't mind acquaintances.

Some people just enjoy their own company more than others after years of isolation and learning to love and accept yourself. I'll always treat others with respect and never play victim. I am where I am because of my own choices and im more than happy with that😊 That's a lot different than falling out with everyone and blaming everyone but yourself for that.

As an autistic person my life only changed when I stopped blaming everyone else and started learning what I needed to be able to make authentic connections. It sucks not having the tools naturally but its necessary to learn them.

While I understand your point I still feel like you cant judge anyone just cause of that. I do have 2 friends and one of them has been a friend for over a decade but I can totally see why some people wouldn't have anyone. I was bullied throughout all my school days and even when I did a one year internship I was also take advantage of by my superiors. Life can easily take advantage of you and never give you a chance of befriending anyone. I moved continents at the age of 12 and afte that I moved schools 4 freaking times barely staying 2-3 years at each one. Some people might have it even worse. Im now in college and eventho I changed my personality and have become more confident I can still not make a single friend. I just talk with them and exchange notes or stuff but we never hang out. Im fortunate enough to have found 2 friends in my life that somehow stuck with me but not many are this fortunate

i was always an introverted person so had a small circle to begin with and when they moved weird its not to say i didnt have other friends i js wasnt as close w them due to sticking to my small circle and they had their own ppl and its rly hard for me to converse and get closer w ppl so not everything is always as simple as that

Because sometimes when you go through a major change , or you are a victim of smear campaign alot of people will turn on you , or you just decided you needed to cut certain people off because of various reasons, you can absolutely still have issues of your own that you need to work on but just because you may find yourself at points with little to no friends doesn’t mean you are ‘the’ problem. You might also be more introverted and prefer quality over quantity

I just got depressed and isolated myself. Yes that was my problem, I am lucky to have a friend who did stick by me. I try to give people with no friends a chance but sometimes they can be toxic
