Amazing question! I have played both completely, sorry if it's too late but here it is anyways! Escape the Backrooms: both don't update frequently however this one slightly more, and has around 30+ levels! Voice chat is not amazing and it looks way less real. Backrooms Escape Together: Way less levels, but scarier and more realistic. I personally would choose ETB but both are great. BET: Quality > Gameplay ETB: Gameplay > Quality

Escape Together is incredibly well-optimised with graphics and controls. Each room is unique and truly amazing, and there are some fantastic side quests. While the Backrooms is glitchy, it offers more levels and each one is significantly longer. The graphics are reminiscent of 2000s games, which really suits the atmosphere of the Backrooms. However, the UI is frustrating. Escape Together is much easier to use during tense moments. It seems to prioritise quality over quantity. But both really are the best 2.
