For me ,Cheating is a choice not an option.If you say you cheat because your bored then it means you never loved the person with you or the love you get was not enough to give you happiness. Truthfully hindi ko pa nararanasan ang relationship because I'm too young for that , but I grew up with people involved with it and somehow I know it .

Yes, cheating is a choice although THERE IS NO VALID REASON TO CHEAT. You're not someone who's in kindergarten who wants to have a high score. There will never be a valid reason to cheat because breaking up is a reason to end your relationship.

If cheating is a choice, then I believe people do it because they choose what they want in the moment over the commitment they made. Sometimes it's because they're unhappy, seeking validation, or afraid to communicate their feelings honestly. But no matter the reason, cheating happens when someone decides not to respect the trust that was given to them. Problems in a relationship can explain why a person is struggling, but they don't justify betraying someone who loves them. Trust is also a choice, and so is breaking it.
