Finally! Someone who isn’t ripping it down! It’s fun it’s Gucci it’s never that serious. I’ve bought a few Demna pieces because it’s fun yeah it’s expensive and I don’t care how it sounds but to me it’s not the most expensive to buy a top and use it often without thought or worry.

This is interesting because Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann and Gucci by Demna (channelling 90’s Tom Ford) are essentially selling the same things now… But Haider Ackermann’s take feels more serious and sensual and for established/older and “richer” clientele, while the Gucci Demna feels more aspirational and has more of the 90’s club scene, more a party girl look. It’s the same take but with a different set of customers in terms of age and spending power.

The only thing I would correct is that Chanel dresses celebrities in the runaway looks, most of them, Penelope was one of few that didn’t. And the dress she’s wearing has elements of the collections so far.
