I know this way too well. Wasn’t chosen by my parents and always abandoned. Everyone including my therapist tells me what a good person I am, I tray everyone with kindness & respect yet I’m always pushed aside. It really hurts as I have a lot of love to give but at almost 52 I’ve accepted the fact that I was destined to be alone. It’s VERY lonely watching others but it is what it is at this point so I just try to live a happy life as best as I can.

Wow, this totally hit home. 🥺 Most of the time I'm ok with being alone, but I do feel lonely sometimes. And in my 42yrs of living, I've never felt like anyone has chosen only me (either romantically, with friendships, or family), and it's a shitty feeling.

I think there are a few lucky people who get to experience real love, just a sprinkle of people and the majority of us are mismatched and unhappy…. I don’t think I’ll be lucky enough for that but I pray my kids will ❤️❤️❤️
