There is a thing of being too protective and not enough protection u need to find the middle ground some of these are in the too protective and some are perfect, being too protective can lead to mental health issues and the children putting themselves in bad situations and it’s the same with not enough protection so just find the middle ground and dont have your entire mindset of what happened when u were a kid will happen to them because sometimes it can have the opposite affect

As an adult who was SA as a child repeatedly at the same house as child during play time yall better LISTEN!!! And when I told at 5 I was told that would never happen at the church parsonage! I spent years in addiction… years in abusive relationships… effed everything up… finally at 30 God healed me and guess what I agree with this mom!
