but that's not the whole point of chess. and it's not the reason why it's compared to life. Chess has a lot of emotion if ur really into it. yes u can see the moves I make but you wouldn't know the purpose of it. Chess is meant to teach u that whatever you do in ur life you need to have a reason for it and u need to look at what will be affected if u make that decision. The mistakes u make may cost you everything u have, but the sacrifices u make might be for the greater good...it's not about being a general and soldiers it's more about making smart decisions and being aware of ur surroundings...that's why people who have the best minds and the best strategies play Chess...it's for people who know how to think

I don't know what came about the argument so I can't just speak on the matter but almost everything he said is flawed in many ways I feel the main problem here is he see chess as a 💯% reality game were by chess help you with the guidance to rule the world (your world at least) neglecting the fact that chess is meant to be a tool to help you or your brain process things faster especially when there is little time, helps you to become under pressure, been strategic etc that's why it's a f****** game not some guidance book, we deem it to be reality related because what is being done in chess is done everyday in the world this is my 2 cent

everyone in chess doesn't start with the same pieces and not everyone sees the moves. people define their resources differently based on strategy and strategy is influenced by belief and beliefs nfluenced by experience.
