@mattdahlhauser: I stopped asking, "What if and started asking, "What if it does?" As a dad, it's easy to put yourself last. Your time. Your dreams. Your "maybe someday." But I realized something... Investing in myself wasn't selfish. Staying stuck was mentally exhausting and I don't want that weighing me down. Change can feel scary, especially with everyone's opinions. But growth matters. And so does showing up for your own life. I want my kids to see what it looks like to try. To build. To believe in something. So I'm building something of my own. In the pockets of time I have. It might take some time. And I'm okay with that. Because I know that if I keep showing up and putting in the effort, it will lead somewhere beautiful.
