I’m 55 and one thing that really shocked me, and isn’t often spoken about. We raise our kids to be the best they can to leave home and succeed in life. When they do though, holy hell. That empty nester feeling really hits hard. Anyone else struggled with this?

I’m going to be 50 in a few months. Empty nester which sucks. I also work from home and my shifts are different to a 9-5 work week. I moved into the area I live in and have been here for 18months and haven’t met a single friend. Menopause is hitting hard and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so lonely in my life.
