Honestly fiber became my obsession for a while 😅 I'd add it to everything hoping it would magically fix how heavy and uncomfortable I felt. The frustrating part was I still struggled with cravings and low energy. Then a friend suggested Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by loren green. Ended up losing 31 lbs, my bloating improved massively and I finally felt good after meals. Worth it, crazy more women don't know about this.

As far as I know, you're not supposed to get your fiber from a single ingredient, in a single meal. I like to get my daily fiber throughout the day, through several ingredients like fruits, vegetables and grains.

Also the context of the food matters. People are unlikely to eat multiple apples but they do eat larger quantities of potatoes (typically). You can eat a banana and get your 2.6g but I think it’s more likely that you just eat a larger quantity of cabbage and get 4.2g?😭 like okay - it’s fine to point out some foods can be better sources of nutrients but also… don’t discredit things. In a day and age where many people are struggling with food and diet, let’s encourage intake instead of discrediting things.
