Loved this movie so so so so much! Had to catch it twice in Theatres and pre-order the Blu-ray because EVERYTHING from the cinematography to the costume Ming and the score is elite. I had such a good time with this movie.

yesss!! this was one of my favorite parts of the movie! so glad to see it being discussed. i first noticed it during the scene where they chose not to show what was under god's covers. as a disabled person im so used to our bodies being shown to shock and disgust that i really appreciated the fact they didnt do that.

Yes! Seeing anaias reaction to knowing what cine was doing did much more for the story than seeing body horror of Angie would have ever done.

I feel the need to say that not everyone agrees with my take! I’ve seen a few Black women film reviewers who I deeply respect who take issue with the depiction of violence in this movie. Just wanted to state that in case you’re on the fence about watching due to violence, definitely seek additional opinions to decide if it’s for you!

I already wanted to see this movie and now I'm extra sold. Showing the aftermath, the effects, the handling the after part is THE MOST important, interesting, and rich part of any story.
