@bychoice8: Today is the hardest day of my life. 💔🐾 My best friend is being put to sleep today. He wasn’t just a dog… he was family. He stayed beside me during my worst days, waited for me every night, and loved me even when I had nothing to give back. This morning he could barely stand, but he still looked at me with those same loyal eyes. Like he was trying to say, “It’s okay.” I’m not ready to say goodbye. I don’t think I ever will be. People say “he’s just a dog,” but they don’t understand how one animal can carry your sadness, protect your heart, and become your home. Today, a part of me leaves with him. Run free, my boy. No more pain. 🕊️ If you have a pet, hug them extra tight tonight. Because one day, the walks, the barking, the little paw sounds in the house… become memories
