you should always turn your multi port clockwise every time. there's a gasket inside there that will get bunched up by turning the other way and next thing ya know, you've got sand blowing in your pool

When I got this filter and pump, my filter has the pump and filter outlets backwards from my pool with the waste facing my pool, I don’t understand why in the world would it be made like that
