The system uses guidance technology and deployable wings to convert standard 550-pound bombs into smart munitions, similar in concept to the US-made Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). Ukrainian officials say the weapon can be launched from aircraft including the MiG-29 and Su-24, with future integration planned for Western-supplied fighter jets.
