@offenceregister: STEVEN SMITH STIRLING SNAPCHAT PREDATOR SEX OFFENDER STRATHAVEN Introduction A highly dangerous digital predator from Stirling who callously launched a horrific cyber campaign—targeting a fifteen-year-old schoolgirl on Snapchat and flashing her with explicit images—has been placed on the register. 26-year-old Steven Smith was found to be completely unmasked following an intensive public protection inquiry. The Offences and Trial Details Smith operated across Strathaven and Motherwell, executing a calculated sequence of digital and privacy violations in February twenty-eighteen. The predator non-compliantly targeted a minor, tracking her social media to send unsolicited images of his penis, weaponising his past background as her neighbour to exploit her youth. Sentences and Court Orders Dragged before Hamilton Sheriff Court after a trial completely exploded his aggressive denial scripts, the monster was nailed by the judiciary. The court stripped away his digital freedom, forcing him onto the sex offenders register, ordering one hundred and fifty hours of community labour, and hit him with a five-hundred-pound fine. Investigation and Impact The intensive investigation by Police Scotland unzipped his phone networks, proving he deliberately targeted the child before moving to his new base on Ben Lomond Drive. Sheriff Daniel Kelly slammed his behaviour, imposing an intense 18-month supervision order to allow tracking units to monitor his networks and ensure absolute public safety.
