This is completely unfair. The jambiya is a traditional part of Yemeni culture and heritage, and Yemeni men should not be singled out or detained simply for wearing it. Other communities are allowed to carry traditional or religious items, such as the Sikh kirpan, and their customs are respected. The same respect should be shown to Yemenis. What happened here looks like discrimination and racial profiling, and people should not be targeted because of their ethnicity, culture, or traditional clothing.
